Overview

The Mexico APIS prefills trip information into the Mexico APIS spreadsheet. BART does not directly file the spreadsheet. You are prompted to send the spreadsheet to your international handler.

Sending APIS

APIS submission can be done by sending the approved APIS spreadsheet (an Excel document) to your International Handler or directly to APIS by sending to: apis_cna@inami.gob.mx

Once created, the APIS spreadsheet must be emailed to apis_cna@inami.gob.mx within 24 hours of departure. You must then re-send the same form to confirm your flight to apis_cna@inami.gob.mx 30 minutes prior to takeoff. You will receive a reply from Mexican Immigration that it has been received.
