Flight Risk Assessment Tool (FRAT) for Crew Overview.

BART Flight Risk Assessment Tool (FRAT) allows a pilot to mitigate future flight risks by completing a customizable risk analysis.


Accessing FRAT

FRAT is found in the CoPilot App, on the Flight Details screen

Click the  FRAT arrow button, then choose edit FRAT.

Completing and Submitting 

Tap mceclip3.pngmceclip4.pngmceclip5.pngfor each question according to your company's procedures.

Select Yes/No for each question according to your company's procedures.

Tap Save  when completed.

 

A summary email will be sent to the email address on file for the crew who filled out the FRAT, along with any company designated alert groups.

Viewing FRAT

FRAT results can be viewed from the Schedule Details page

The color of the FRAT symbol indicates the highest marked response:

  •  mceclip12.png indicates all Low responses
  • mceclip14.pngindicates at least one Medium response, but no High responses
  • mceclip13.pngindicates at least one High response

The percent completed will appear under the FRAT symbol on each leg
