Canned Leg Notes

Overview

Sometimes you have information you repeatedly include in trip notes such as policies, Wi Fi passwords, codes, or company specific information. BART can save those canned notes for a one-click insertion to a trip's notes section and appear on trip sheets. This option saves you valuable time. 

Creating Canned Leg Notes

Navigate to the list of canned leg notes under the Schedules tab>Trips tab>Canned Leg Notes.

Click the green "new canned note" button, assign it a name, and what the note will include. Once saved, it will appear in the All Canned Leg Notes list. 

Inserting a Canned Leg Note

1. Click on the magnifying glass next to the note you want to populate. 

2. Under the Special Inserts tab, your saved list of Canned Leg Notes will populate the dropdown option. You simply click to populate.

4. The canned note appears on the trip sheet under the appropriate note category you selected.
