Add Airport to Airport Database
Overview
BART allows you to add a new airport or helipad to your available airports. This allows you to quickly add private landing spot without the need to contact support. New airports must have a unique identifier.
Adding an Airport
- Navigate to Airports > All Airports
- Click on + New Airport button
- Fill in all fields
- You are only required to enter in one identifier (ICAO, IATA, FAA Code)
- Latitude must be in the format of [N/S] DDMM.S (example: 'N 9999.9') where DD=degrees, MM=Minutes and S=Seconds (here is a helpful tool: https://www.fcc.gov/media/radio/dms-decimal)
- Longitude must be in the format of [W/E]DDDMM.S (example: 'W99999.9') where DDD=degrees, MM=Minues and S=Seconds (here is a helpful tool: https://www.fcc.gov/media/radio/dms-decimal)
- You must select another airport in the same time zone to replicate time zone data
- Save
- After saving, you can fill in additional airport information
